The great story of MedJobs
At the end of my general medicine studies, like many young colleagues, I faced the difficulties of the medical job market. Information was scattered, hardly accessible, and often reserved for certain circles. The lack of transparency made recruitment complex, and many competent professionals found themselves without opportunities or underemployed.
To address this challenge, I first started a WhatsApp group to share the few available announcements. The immediate enthusiasm and rapid growth of this group demonstrated that there was a real and collective need: to centralize and structure access to job and training opportunities in the healthcare field.
This is how MedJobs237 was born: a digital platform designed to facilitate connections between healthcare professionals and hospitals, associations, NGOs, universities, and companies in the sector. In addition to recruitment, MedJobs237 integrates services related to continuing education, scholarships, internships, and scientific events, to support the professional development of healthcare actors in Cameroon and Africa.
Today, MedJobs237 aims to be a reliable and modern tool for strengthening the healthcare system, offering transparency, accessibility, and efficiency for both candidates and recruiters.

It all started with a simple but painful reality: the difficulty of finding a job after medical studies. Like many young doctors, I experienced long periods of waiting, uncertainty, and sometimes discouragement. Job offers rarely circulated officially, often reserved for closed circles. You had to be 'well informed' to hope to seize an opportunity.
Faced with this observation, I decided to create a WhatsApp group to share the rare announcements I found. This small gesture, almost insignificant at first, would mark the beginning of a great adventure. Very quickly, the group expanded: first a few colleagues, then dozens, and soon hundreds of healthcare professionals from all backgrounds. What was just an information channel became a living and supportive community.
But a WhatsApp group had its limits. Announcements got lost, management became complex, and it was clear that demand far exceeded the initial framework. That's when the idea was born to build something bigger: a digital platform capable of centralizing all opportunities and professionalizing the process.
This is how MedJobs237 was born:

Today, it's no longer just about helping a few doctors find jobs: it's about revolutionizing medical recruitment in Africa, giving more visibility to talents, and contributing to the improvement of the healthcare system by facilitating information flow.
MedJobs237 is the story of a generation of healthcare professionals who refuse to endure and choose to innovate. It's the tale of a struggle transformed into opportunity, a problem transformed into solution, and a simple idea that became a great epic.
